mJams partners with Coca-Cola for Moments Together concert in Mandalay

Monday 17th October 2016 (Yangon): mJams – Myanmar’s most popular music streaming app – has launched a ground-breaking partnership with Coca-Cola for Myanmar’s Thadingyut festival.

Following five successful months of delivering Myanmar’s best range of Myanmar and international music, mJams has partnered with Coca-Cola for its annual Thadingyut campaign, which commenced on Wednesday the 5th of October 2016. The agreement covers in-app, digital and activation and has given users a taste of the Coca-Cola Thadingyut campaign from the moment the partnership kicked off.  

Following on from last year’s success, the Coca-Cola Myanmar campaign focuses on reinforcing Thadingyut’s essence of sharing and togetherness by engaging with people to taste the feeling of love and giving while bonding with friends and family. The campaign – which is already underway – includes limited edition honorable gift packaging, a Thadingyut television commercial, an original Coca-Cola Thadingyut song entitled “Together” featuring Aung Htet, social media activities, and a Coca-Cola Moments Together concert at Mandalay’s Mandalar Thiri Stadium, which took place on Saturday 15 October.

To amplify the campaign and gain maximum engagement for both Coca-Cola and mJams brand fans, the unique partnership brings music – both live and in-app – to users over the course of the campaign. To commence, all ticket-holders for the Moments Together concert in Mandalay were given seven days’ free VIP access to mJams for the duration of the campaign. Once in mJams, the users will be able to stream songs specifically curated for the campaign, including “Together” featuring Aung Htet, from one of four Jamming Channels and Playlists compiled by the mJams’ expert content team. At the concert itself, Coca-Cola hosted mJams’ rising stars Mi Sandi, Chan Chan, Amera Hpone and Ah Moon on stage as they join six more artists for an evening concert. mJams also had a promotional presence at the event, offering expert tips, gifts and merchandise. For users wanting to re-live the show, or for those unable to make it to Mandalay, mJams will also host a live recording of the Moments Together concert in Mandalay within the app.
